Toronto Hydro Looking to Change Distribution Rates

You may be aware, the Ontario Energy Board regulates Ontario’s energy sector, and is responsible for setting distribution rates for local utilities.
Toronto Hydro has applied to the OEB to change its distribution rates effective January 1, 2020. As part of the OEB review of this application, they want to hear from their customers and ensure that they have an opportunity to have their say. Towards that end, a series of community meetings throughout the city, begin November 22. Five of the six meetings will be in-person as well as livestreamed. The sixth will be a webinar.
