Bathurst & Eglinton – Crosstown Construction

December 8, 2018

The Metrolinx-Crosslinx notice of closure of Bathurst Street at Eglinton Avenue West has not been given a City of Toronto Permit and will NOT go ahead without a full and complete public consultation with the residents in the affected communities.

Working with Councillor Matlow’s and Mayor Tory’s offices, we have urged Metrolinx and all parties involved to move the consultation process into the latter half of January 2019 and to suggest alternatives to their proposed closure of Bathurst Street. We have asked Metrolinx and Crosslinx to communicate these updates and to make it clear that the proposed closure will not get our support without our recommended changes.

If you have received a notice on this issue, or if you have seen it through any online or print sources, please disregard it.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Councillor Mike Colle’s office at 416-338-2500 or email councillor_colle8@toronto.ca.
