June 13, 2022

The following is from Constable Timothy Somers, 53 Division …

The increase of Auto Thefts throughout 53 Division & the City, continues to be a significant concern for the public.
I can assure you that our Divisional Investigative Units are working day & night to combat this trend & investigate those responsible.
The most effective way to prevent auto theft is a collaborative approach of Policing & public education / action.
I have attached a BROCHURE with links to help learn what thieves are doing & how you can help to protect your vehicles.

With the increase in vehicle theft, here is a helpful video of one of the tactics used by thieves to locate your vehicles & how to protect yourselves from this trend.
This video is from TPS Constable Marco Ricciardi.
