The UPtown Yonge BIA is excited to announce their 1st Winter fest - CelUPbrate Winter scheduled during Feb 11 & 12, 12 noon - 5 pm both days. It is a free community event hosted by the UPtown Yonge BIA and invites all residents of the Avenue Road Eglinton Community Association to join us in the celebrations.

Road Closures:

A Traffic control plan for CelUPbrate Winter will be in place on Briar Hill Ave & St. Clements Ave. from Saturday, Feb 11 @ 6 am until Sunday February 12 @ 10:00 pm, 2023.

St Clements Avenue at Yonge Street will be closed (150 meters west toward Duplex Ave) to vehicular traffic from Yonge Street from Saturday, Feb 11 @ 6 am to Sunday, February 12 @ 10 pm.

Briar Hill Avenue at Yonge Street will be closed (150 meters west toward Duplex Ave) to vehicular traffic from Yonge Street from Saturday, Feb 11 @ 6 am to Sunday, February 12 @ 10 pm.

There will be no street parking on St Clements Ave or Briar Hill Ave, between Yonge and Duplex. This takes effect on Saturday, Feb 11 @ 6 am, so please do not park on the street overnight unless you can move your vehicle before 6 am.

Residents on St Clements Avenue and Briar Hill Ave (between Yonge St and Duplex Ave) impacted by the street closure will be allowed local access from Duplex Avenue. Driveways will not be blocked.

Duplex Ave will be open for vehicular traffic, and residents can park on adjacent streets as normal.

There will be security and volunteer marshals to help us manage the crowd.
