Community Environment Days 

April 19, 2022 


After being cancelled for the last 2 years due to Covid, Environment Days are back.

A full list of where and when can be found here.  The closest one to the ARECA area is Tuesday, June 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the North Toronto Memorial Arena Parking Lot.

Pick up:
Free bagged leaf compost (limit of two bags per household, while supplies last)
Kitchen containers for organics ($7)

Drop off for recycling or proper disposal:
Electronic Waste
Household Hazardous Waste

Donate items for reuse:
Sporting goods
Books (excluding textbooks)
Cameras, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays
Dress-up clothing and costume jewelry
Clothing, footwear, accessories, linens, etc.
Small household items
Musical instruments, board games
Eyeglasses, walking aids, hearing aids, etc.
Non-perishable food for donation

Please do not bring:
ink cartridges or toner
construction waste
air conditioners
garbage and Blue Bin recycling
wood
cassette and videotapes
commercial/industrial hazardous waste
tires and scrap metal
