Midtown Zoning Review – Avenue Road Transit Station Area Neighbourhoods

April 19, 2022

The City is running a VIRTUAL Public Information and Consultation on Monday, April 25/22 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Click here to see the Notice.

Here is an excerpt from the Notice ... "Today, a variety of residential building types are permitted in the zoning by-law, including townhouses, multiplexes, and apartment buildings. No changesĀ  are being proposed to those existing permissions. Instead, it is the details of those existing permissions that are proposed to be modified, such as the maximum floor space index, the maximum height (up to 4 storeys), and the maximum depth of a building. At an upcoming meeting, we will present the details of potential changes to the zoning by-law, answer your questions and seek your input."

The ARECA area to be part of this appears to be along Avenue Road, north from Burnaby to Roselawn with various distances in from Avenue Road along Burnaby, Willowbank, Elwood, Kelway and Roselawn.
